What is a NOC (Non-Operation Charge) ?
If a vehicle requires repair or cleaning due to a traffic accident, theft, break down, defacement, or other causes not attributable to Nippon Rent-A-Car, the customer may be charged an NOC as part of the compensation for loss of use during the repair or cleaning of the vehicle.These amounts are fixed regardless of the degree of the damage or the time required for such repair or cleaning.
When the smoking has been discovered to have occurred in a no-smoking car, it is handled in a similar manner. (NOC:20,000 yen)
